No—not through Samsung’s original promotion. The Galaxy skin was a limited-time reward for eligible Galaxy Note9 and Galaxy Tab S4 owners. Samsung’s US offer ended December 31, 2018. Players who received the skin before then kept it permanently, but the official pages reviewed do not show a way to claim it now.
Who was eligible for the Galaxy skin?
Samsung tied the Galaxy skin reward to Galaxy Note9 and Galaxy Tab S4 owners. Its August 9, 2018 announcement separately listed several Galaxy phones and tablets—including the Note8, S8, S7, and Tab S3—for early access to Fortnite’s Android beta. That beta-access list was broader than the skin offer: owning one of those other models did not, by itself, make someone eligible for the Galaxy skin. Samsung’s launch announcement
How the original redemption worked
Samsung’s historical support guide, last updated August 12, 2022, describes these steps for the promotion:
- Sign in to a Samsung Account on the eligible device and have an Epic Games account.
- Install Fortnite through Galaxy Apps using the Fortnite banner.
- Sign in to Fortnite and play three matches on the Note9.
- Return to the lobby and wait for a Fortnite gift box, which Samsung said could take 24 to 48 hours.
Samsung said only one Galaxy skin was granted per device and cautioned that feature availability could differ by device and model. These are the documented historical steps, not a current claim process. Samsung’s support guide

When did the offer end?
Samsung’s US promotional terms described a Note9 pre-order offer running August 10–23, 2018. Eligible customers could choose AKG noise-cancelling headphones, a Fortnite bundle consisting of a skin and 15,000 V-Bucks, or both for $99, subject to the offer’s purchase, age, territory, and supply restrictions. Separately, Samsung said the Galaxy skin was available to Note9 and Tab S4 purchasers through December 31, 2018, and would be permanent for recipients who claimed it before that deadline. No current claim route for this legacy skin appears on Epic’s current Samsung installation page. That page explains how to install Fortnite through the Epic Games Store for mobile or Google Play and lists cloud gaming options in supported regions; installing or playing Fortnite on a Samsung device is not the same as qualifying for the expired Galaxy skin offer. Buying a used Note9 or Tab S4 is therefore not a supported way to unlock the skin. Samsung’s published deadline has passed, and the reviewed official pages do not document a new redemption method. This conclusion applies to the published offer; it does not establish whether Samsung or Epic might run a different promotion in the future.
