While we continue to deliver regular content and fixes into the game, we want you to know we hear your feedback about our post-launch updates and we’re looking into future changes to both in-game content and the ways we communicate with you. Stay tuned!”
The message addresses two concerns: the content and fixes arriving after launch, and how frequently the studio communicates with players. It says the team is looking into future changes, but names no feature, fix, revised update schedule, or date. Pure Xbox’s report does not identify where the statement first appeared, so the quotation is attributable to Playground Games as reported by that outlet rather than independently verified here against an original studio post.

What the report said about upcoming updates
At the time of Pure Xbox’s report, “Horizon Meets” was described as the immediate next update, due on the Thursday after publication. The outlet said it would bring a 7-Eleven Car Meet, three cars new to Horizon, a Treasure Car, and other additions. It described the update after that as themed around “City Life.”
Those were forward-looking details in the October 2026 report, not confirmation here of what ultimately shipped. The article did not give a release date or final contents for the City Life update, and Playground Games’ quoted statement did not say that City Life—or any particular street-racing feature—was a response to the complaints.
