Along the way, the calendar included FFWS SEA Spring in Hanoi, FFWS SEA Fall in Bangkok, and the Esports World Cup: Free Fire in Riyadh. Here are the key dates, formats and confirmed results; Garena’s published schedule does not provide every regional league’s full match calendar.

How the 2025 qualification route worked
Garena described a progression from local qualifiers into regional leagues and then international competition. Its November 19, 2025 post-event report said the season involved 618,778 players in official tournaments worldwide. That is Garena’s season-level reported figure, not an independently audited participant count.
The roadmap named regional FFWS competitions in Brazil, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and Pakistan. Garena’s post-season report also described local qualifiers in South Asia. The available announcements do not provide a complete dated schedule for every regional league, so the April opening is a season milestone rather than a full global fixture list.

SEA Spring’s knockout phase ran from April 25 through June 1, followed by its final stage in Hanoi on June 13–14. Eighteen teams represented Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia, and the top 12 advanced to the final stage.
The event also introduced Clash Squad as an official FFWS tournament mode. Its online semifinals and final took place June 13, with a separate US$75,000 prize pool. Garena described the Battle Royale Grand Final in Hanoi as an offline event; that distinction should not be assumed to apply to other tournaments or stages.

Global Finals format and winners
Battle Royale: Champion Rush
Garena’s Champion Rush rules required a team to reach 80 points before it could win by earning a Booyah in a subsequent match. If no team met that condition within eight matches, the highest-scoring team won. At the November 15 final, Buriram United Esports of Thailand claimed the Battle Royale title after seven matches.
