Gaelco Sports Collection is scheduled to arrive on Nintendo Switch on October 22, 2026. Publisher QUByte Interactive marked the date with a new release-date trailer. The digital collection brings together five arcade games: two rally racers, a snowboarding game, a squash game and a beach volleyball game.
When does Gaelco Sports Collection release on Switch?
The Nintendo Switch version is scheduled for October 22, 2026, according to Nintendo Everything’s October 1, 2026 report. That report says the date replaces an earlier, broader 2026 launch window. Gematsu also reported October 22 for the collection’s announced platforms.
Nintendo Everything describes the Switch release as a digital download. The reports do not establish a price, confirm regional eShop availability or announce a physical Switch edition.
What games are included?
The five-game lineup spans racing and arcade sports:

The publisher-derived descriptions for the rally games call out varied surfaces, tight corners, rival ghost cars and a strict 60-second countdown. These are announcement details, not hands-on findings. The five titles and descriptions are listed in Gematsu’s announcement and the Steam product listing.
What does the new trailer show?
The release-date trailer announces the October 22 launch and offers a look at the collection’s arcade games. Both Nintendo Everything and Gematsu link to the trailer. Their reports do not provide a shot-by-shot breakdown, so specific scenes or footage should not be inferred from the announcement alone.

What features are announced?
The product descriptions advertise save states and a museum gallery containing original manuals and historic arcade art. Nintendo Everything also lists CRT filters and local multiplayer options described as split-screen or turn-taking. The Steam listing describes shared/split-screen PvP and co-op for that PC version.
Feature wording varies by listing, and these descriptions do not establish that every option works identically on Switch. The Steam page also discloses that generative AI was used to modernize original promotional images; that disclosure applies to the Steam description and does not establish how other platform editions handle artwork.

Which platforms are announced?
In addition to Nintendo Switch, the collection is scheduled for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Gematsu reports October 22 for the announced platform lineup. The available reports do not compare performance, resolution, prices or feature parity between versions.
A PlayStation Store listing identifies QUByte Interactive as publisher and gives a one-to-four-player range for the PlayStation version. That listing does not verify the Switch version’s player count, controller setup or local multiplayer requirements.
