That announcement was separate from the company’s $2 million seed round announced in September 2023. The early-April token-generation event mentioned in the 2024 announcement was a plan at the time—not a current launch date.
There were two separate $2 million rounds
GAM3S.GG announced a $2 million seed round on September 7, 2023, alongside its rebrand from Polkastarter Gaming. The company said the seed funding would support further development. GAM3S.GG’s 2023 seed announcement describes that round.
On March 22, 2024, the company announced an additional $2 million strategic round. Its announcement, updated December 2, 2025, names Merit Circle, WWVentures, Cogitent Ventures, P2 Ventures, Cypher Capital, Acheron, Basics Capital, OIG Capital, BreederDAO, MetaBros, Hercules Ventures and BasementDAO as participants. It also names angel investors Sandeep Nailwal, Gabby Dizon, Jiho Zirlin and Giulio Xiloyannis. These are the participants identified by the company, not an independently verified investor roster. Read the company’s strategic-round announcement.
The two announcements describe distinct rounds, not one $2 million raise. Neither source establishes GAM3S.GG’s total lifetime funding.

What GAM3S.GG said the platform offered
In its 2024 announcement, the company described GAM3S.GG as a discovery and engagement platform for Web3 games, with curated game listings, guides, reviews, onboarding support, early-access opportunities, quests and browser-playable titles. It reported more than 350 games, including over 80 playable in a browser, and said it had more than 300,000 registered gamers.
The same announcement reported over 1 million quest missions completed, more than 100,000 unique quest participants and over 80 quests. It also said the December 2023 GAM3 Awards received more than 450,000 votes. These are historical figures reported by GAM3S.GG in the 2024 announcement; the cited sources do not independently verify them or provide a later like-for-like measurement.

The homepage now advertises discovery across 2,000+ games, but that is a separate current site claim and is not directly comparable with the 2024 announcement’s Web3-game library figure. GAM3S.GG’s current homepage also presents a broader discovery experience. The sources do not establish how the platform compares with competitors, so these figures are not evidence of a category ranking.
What the $G3 token announcement promised—and what later posts show
The March 2024 announcement said GAM3S.GG planned a $G3 token-generation event for early April, with a public sale and an airdrop for early users. That is a historical schedule stated in 2024, not a current date or confirmation of when the event took place. The company described intended token uses including access to exclusive platform features, game rewards and participation in future game-token launches.

Later posts on GAM3S.GG’s official announcements channel refer to staking, buying and trading $G3, and token-related features involving gaming collectibles. One post describes using $G3 to buy an NFT through an OpenSea integration. These posts show that the company subsequently promoted token-related activity; they do not establish the present availability of each feature, token price or investment performance. GAM3S.GG’s official announcements channel is the source for those posts.
The practical takeaway is limited: the strategic round was presented as support for the platform’s development and a token-linked ecosystem, while the token’s proposed utility and later promoted activity are different kinds of evidence. The announcements do not show whether the planned features delivered measurable user growth or rewards.

What the raise means for players
For players, the funding announcement points to GAM3S.GG’s stated ambition to combine game discovery and editorial material with browser access, quests and token-linked features. It does not by itself demonstrate that those features are currently available, that the company’s reported activity figures are independently verified, or that $G3 offers financial value. Check the platform and its official announcements for current feature availability rather than relying on the early-April 2024 plan.
