What changed hands—and when
The transaction was a sale of Minehut’s business unit: GamerSafer, Inc. was the buyer and Super League Enterprise, Inc. the seller. Super League’s filing states that the $1.0 million purchase consideration was to be paid through revenue and royalty sharing over two years under the agreement. That is the seller’s disclosed payment structure; it does not mean $1.0 million was paid in cash up front.
Why the companies said they made the deal
Super League presented the sale as part of a move to streamline its focus on brand partnerships and improve costs. GamerSafer said acquiring Minehut would extend its work in Minecraft communities and its player-safety approach. Those are the companies’ stated rationales, not independent assessments of the deal’s results. The companies also said they would maintain a commercial relationship so Minehut could remain available as a destination for Super League partners.

Minehut’s scale claims are historical, not current
In its February 2024 acquisition announcement, GamerSafer reported that Minehut had nearly 10 million user-generated servers and seven million hours of gameplay per month. These are company-reported figures from the announcement, not independently audited measurements or current service metrics.
GamerSafer co-founder and CEO Rodrigo Tamellini described the company’s approach this way: “Great online gaming experiences result from a combination of user-generated content and player safety.” The statement appeared in GamerSafer’s February 2024 announcement.

What is established about Minehut now
A Minehut support rules page updated September 10, 2026, identifies GamerSafer as Minehut’s owner. That later ownership signal supports the conclusion that GamerSafer remained associated with Minehut after the sale, but it does not establish present-day user counts, revenue, active-server totals, or service performance. Minehut’s support rules page is the relevant ownership reference.
