If you want more stealth after 007 First Light, start with HITMAN World of Assassination for open-ended infiltration and creative approaches, or Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist for a covert-agent story and spy gadgets. Neither is a Bond game: each captures a different part of the appeal.
What kind of stealth do you want?
007 First Light is a third-person action-adventure and reimagined Bond origin story. PlayStation describes it as mixing stealth with cinematic action, including unarmed and weapon-based combat. That makes it useful to separate two kinds of recommendations: stealth sandboxes, where you explore a location and choose how to reach an objective, and covert-agent stealth-action games, which put you in the role of an operative. HITMAN World of Assassination: for creative, replayable stealth
Choose HITMAN World of Assassination if the part of Bond you want to carry over is watching a location, finding an opening, and improvising a route. PlayStation’s listing describes missions from HITMAN 1, 2, and 3, more than 20 locations, and ways to eliminate targets creatively or stealthily. The page offers PS4 and PS5 versions. The important difference is the fantasy: Agent 47 is an assassin, not a heroic spy. The overlap is in stealth, disguises, observation, and choosing an approach; the objective and protagonist are very different from Bond’s origin story.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist: for covert-agent stealth action
Choose Splinter Cell: Blacklist if you want a covert operative and a stealth-action framing. Ubisoft describes Sam Fisher as a covert agent and identifies spy equipment including a snake cam and micro tri-rotor drone. Ubisoft’s page lists PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U. 007 First Light combines stealth and action in a Bond origin story; Blacklist is explicitly presented as stealth action, while HITMAN emphasizes creative ways to approach and complete target missions. The choice is less about finding a substitute Bond and more about which part of the experience you want next.

Check platform access before choosing
Start with the platform you can play on: the cited PlayStation page lists HITMAN World of Assassination for PS4 and PS5, while Ubisoft’s Blacklist page lists PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U. Confirm the exact edition and current availability with a retailer or platform store before buying; these listings do not establish current stock or price. For 007 First Light, IO Interactive’s May 21, 2026 launch-trailer announcement scheduled PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for May 27, with Nintendo Switch 2 planned for summer 2026.
