What it is
Bridge Constructor Medieval is a bridge-building simulation from ClockStone set in the Middle Ages. Players design bridges to carry provisions into a city, protect troops and carriages, or deliberately collapse beneath enemy forces. Some levels put bridges under siege from catapults, so designs need to withstand bombardment and shield troops with a roof. The game includes five building materials: wood, heavy wood, stone, ropes, and bridge roofs. Its story introduces materials and construction requirements step by step, while different game modes add challenges beyond building stable crossings. Steam lists single-player play, achievements, cloud saves, leaderboards, Remote Play on phone and tablet, and Family Sharing. The game is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux on Steam. It was released in 2014 and published by Headup.

Who it suits
It suits players who enjoy construction puzzles and testing designs against different level requirements. Its siege and collapse scenarios offer alternatives to building bridges that simply hold weight.
Bridge Constructor Medieval gives bridge design both protective and destructive goals. Its single-player levels introduce materials and test structures under different conditions.
