What it is
GalGun VR is a single-player virtual reality shoot ’em up from Inti Creates, released for Windows in 2017. You play a young man suddenly attracting attention from the girls around him and use a Pheromone Shot to fend off their advances as you move through stages. Aiming at different girls’ weak spots can trigger an Ecstasy Shot, which gives them euphoria and raises your score. The game also brings back demons from GalGun Double Peace: shoot demons possessing girls, then use the Demon Sweeper to remove them. The Steam version lists tracked controller support, partial controller support, achievements, trading cards, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. It is VR-only, so a headset is central to the experience. GalGun VR combines arcade-style shooting and demon encounters with a story about navigating the attention of girls who are in love with your character.
