What it is
.hack//G.U. Last Recode is a Windows action role-playing game collection developed by CyberConnect2. It brings together the three original .hack//G.U. titles—Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption—and adds a fourth volume, .hack//G.U. Reconnection. The story returns to “The World,” where Haseo pursues Tri-Edge.
The collection restores and remasters the original games, with enhanced graphics and cut scenes at 1080p and 60fps. It also changes battle balance and pacing, and includes new modes. Released in 2017, Last Recode is a single-player game. Its listed Steam features include achievements, trading cards, partial controller support, Remote Play on TV, and Family Sharing. Bandai Namco Entertainment is the publisher.
