What it is

How to Survive 2 is a zombie survival game from Eko Software, set in Louisiana after the infection has become a worldwide pandemic. You gather food, water and shelter, make tools and weapons, and build a camp while facing the infected. Character progression lets you develop different skills and use scavenged or crafted equipment. A deeper crafting system supports making many items, tools and weapons from materials. Environments include Mississippi Delta bayous and New Orleans’ French Quarter, with randomized settings. You can play alone or with others: up to four players can play online at once, and up to four can share a PC locally. A camp can be opened to as many as 16 players, with local co-op players also able to join an online game. The game includes co-op strategies and actions, as well as PvP and online PvP. Its camera follows your character and can zoom in or out. It was released for Windows in 2016.

Who it suits

It suits players who want to build and improve a shared survival camp, either locally or online. Solo play is also available for players who prefer to face the infected alone.
