What it is
Warhammer: Chaosbane is a hack-and-slash action RPG set in the Warhammer Fantasy world. Eko Software’s game casts players as a defender facing Chaos hordes, with solo play or co-op for up to four players locally or online. The store description presents five character classes, each with distinct skills and customisation: an Empire soldier, a melee-focused Dwarf, a magic-wielding High Elf, a trap-setting Wood Elf and a Dwarf Engineer. Battles pit heroes against monster hordes and bosses, with more than 180 powers and a bloodlust ability. The story was written with Black Library author Mike Lee, and the soundtrack was composed by Chance Thomas. Steam lists single-player, multiplayer, co-op, online co-op and split-screen co-op, plus full controller support, achievements, trading cards, Steam Cloud and Remote Play on TV. Chaosbane released in 2019 and is available on Windows and Xbox Series X|S.
