What it is
Hyperdimension Neptunia U is a single-player action RPG from Idea Factory, set in Gamindustri. The Goddesses and nations are at peace when journalists Dengekiko and Famitsu challenge the CPUs and CPU Candidates to a series of missions. Combat shifts the series into real-time hack-and-slash battles against waves of enemies, with free-roaming stages and ground and aerial combos. The Dual System lets players switch between two characters on the battlefield, so each party can balance the strengths and weaknesses of its members. Special attacks use the EXE Drive Gauge, and a friend may join in for a combined attack. Taking too many hits can trigger a Costume Break: outfits tear, defense falls, and critical rate and EXE Drive Gauge increase. The game supports controllers, Steam Achievements, Trading Cards, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. It is for Windows and carries a Steam age rating of 13.
