Omega Quintet
By Idea Factory, released 1 Jan 2014
- Microsoft Windows
What it is
Omega Quintet is an action role-playing game about five Verse Maidens fighting the Blare, a threat that endangers humanity and affects people’s minds. The maidens use musical abilities and sound weapons against its forces, with battles framed as performances. In Concert Mode, music helps fill the Voltage Gauge faster and unlock special skills. The Harmonics system lets players combine the idols’ skills in a chosen order to create chain combos. Players can also customize outfits, accessories, hair, and microphones, though enemies may cause a Costume Break that leaves a character more vulnerable. The game blends JRPG combat with idol simulation, and is single-player on Windows. Its Steam features include Achievements, Trading Cards, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing, and partial controller support. Idea Factory developed and made the game; Ghostlight LTD is the publisher. The Steam release date is December 15, 2017.
