What it is
Lords of Magic is a fantasy strategy and RPG set in Urak, a land devastated by the sorcerer Balkoth and his followers. You take the role of a champion and lead armies against the forces occupying the region. The game combines role-playing with real-time combat, while empire-building centers on control of eight distinct capitals through conquest or allegiance. Players can choose among 24 editable Lords and develop them as warriors, mages or thieves. Armies face monsters including skeletons and dragons, and quests draw on the legends of Merlin, Beowulf and Siegfried. The Special Edition includes the original game and the Legends of Urak quest pack. It is single-player, with Family Sharing, and is listed for Windows. LAN and online play are unavailable.
