What it is
Metal Slug Defense is SNK’s free-to-play tower defense game, bringing the Metal Slug characters into a strategy game. More than 200 characters from five armies—including human forces, aliens and giant robots—join the battles, with KOF characters also appearing. The game uses simple controls for its action and offers multiplayer matches for up to four players, either one-on-one or two-on-two. Its 2D pixel-art cast returns from the Metal Slug universe. On Windows, the Steam version includes single-player and multiplayer, achievements, leaderboards, Steam Cloud, partial controller support and Family Sharing. It is listed as released in 2014, with a Steam release date of May 1, 2015.
