The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match

By SNK, released 1 Jan 2009

  • Microsoft Windows

What it is

The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is SNK’s 2009 fighting game and an extensively upgraded version of KOF 2002. Built around THE NESTS CHRONICLES, it brings together 66 playable characters, including Nameless, fighters from that storyline, and additional and hidden characters. Graphics and background music were redone, the balance was redesigned across the cast, and the game adds new moves alongside returning ones. It also updates the MAX2 moves. The game supports single-player, multiplayer, co-op, and shared or split-screen co-op. Steam features include achievements, trading cards, leaderboards, and Remote Play Together; a gamepad is recommended, with partial controller support listed. The game is available for Windows. Its Steam release date is February 27, 2015.
