What it is
Octopath Traveler 0 is a turn-based RPG set in Orsterra, telling a story of restoration and retribution over divine rings. It introduces character creation, town building and a protagonist created by the player. You can choose appearance, voice, motions and a favorite dish, then restore a hometown and invite companions and allies to live there.
Battles use the series’ Break and Boost system and can include parties of up to eight, formed from more than 30 allies. Path Actions let you invite people to town, fight or obtain items. A new skill system lets allies learn action skills and pass them to others. The game also features HD-2D visuals, combining retro pixel art with 3D computer graphics.
