What it is
Paladins: Champions of the Realm is a free-to-play fantasy team shooter from Hi-Rez Studios for Windows. Matches put teams of five against each other in modes built around objectives such as moving a payload or contesting rotating points. Players choose from a cast of more than 50 Champions across Damage, Flank, Frontline and Support roles. Each Champion’s abilities can be customized outside matches, while in-game item choices let players adjust how they play during a match. Cosmetic options include Champion skins, profile presentation and effects shown after eliminations or defeats. The game supports multiplayer PvP, cross-platform multiplayer, full controller support and Steam Achievements. It also lists Steam Trading Cards and remote play on phones and tablets. Its Realm setting draws on fantasy characters ranging from mercenaries and scholars to supernatural beings and deities, giving the roster a wide range of character types.
