What it is
Ray Gigant is a dungeon-crawling role-playing game developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment and released in 2016 for Windows. Its story is told through three perspectives: Ichiya, Kyle, and Nil, combining dungeon exploration with visual-novel-style storytelling. The premise follows giant creatures called Gigant attacking Earth’s major cities. A boy in Tokyo, Ichiya Amakaze, is able to defeat them using a mysterious power, but loses control after the attacks and destroys the city he protected. Battles depart from ordinary turn-based RPG combat: a three-character party faces large enemies from different distances and perspectives, and each character has distinct abilities. The rhythm-based Slash Beat system lets players unleash attacks. Steam lists single-player, achievements, full controller support, trading cards, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. Its listed genres include adventure and RPG, and the Steam age rating is 13.
