What it is
Reigns: Beyond is a swipe-based adventure from Nerial, released in 2020. You play as an intergalactic indie rock band travelling between planets and gigs in pursuit of fame, recruiting alien band members along the way. Decisions shape the trip, and you must manage ship resources and keep the crew in check to avoid ending up dead in space. The game includes swiping dogfights against pirates and tax collectors, shipboard band practice, and encounters with more than 60 characters. Its decision-card system contains over 1,400 cards. Sam Webster composed the original soundtrack. Reigns: Beyond is listed for Windows and macOS, while its Steam platform listing is Windows.
