What it is

Silence is a point-and-click adventure from Daedalic Entertainment, set in a world between life and death. During an air raid, 16-year-old Noah and his younger sister Renie shelter in a bunker. When Renie becomes lost in Silence, Noah enters the world to find her and bring her home. The place is both serene and marked by war: dark creatures threaten its towns and cities, while a small group of rebels resists them. The siblings’ journey puts their bond at the center of a story about saving Silence and its inhabitants as well as themselves. Players meet other characters, including Spot, a magical caterpillar who helps them along the way. The game features three playable characters, 3D characters and 2D backgrounds. It is a single-player game with Steam Achievements, full controller support, Steam Trading Cards, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. Released in 2016, it is available for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Who it suits

Silence suits players looking for a story-focused adventure with point-and-click play and a single-player journey. Its themes of danger, family and a world caught between serenity and war may appeal to players who enjoy narrative-led games.

Silence pairs a sibling-rescue story with a setting shaped by both war and calm. Its three playable characters and broad desktop platform support make it a clear fit for single-player adventure fans.
