What it is
The Long Journey Home is a science-fiction action-adventure game from Daedalic Entertainment, released for Windows and macOS. A test flight to Alpha Centauri goes wrong, leaving your crew stranded far from home. Your task is to find a route back through a universe of galaxies, planets and anomalies, bringing the crew safely to their families and friends. Exploration is paired with quests and rogue-like RPG mechanics, and decisions carry consequences. The universe is procedurally generated, with alien races to encounter and opportunities to form alliances, investigate artifacts, raid tombs for traps and treasure, or enter a combat tournament. You can revisit galaxies and take different routes through familiar environments on later journeys. The game is single-player and includes controller support, Steam Cloud, Steam Achievements, Trading Cards, Remote Play on TV and Family Sharing. It was released on May 30, 2017.
