What it is
Stacking is an adventure puzzle game from Double Fine, released in 2011. You play Charlie Blackmore, a tiny Russian stacking doll trying to rescue his family from an industrialist known as the Baron. The game takes place in a vintage world populated by living dolls: Charlie can jump into more than 100 unique characters and use their abilities to solve puzzles and challenges. The journey moves through locations including a royal train station and a zeppelin, while players collect dolls and matched sets for Charlie's hideout. The PC version includes The Lost Hobo King DLC. In that additional adventure, Charlie travels with his friend Levi to the kingdom of Camelfoot and helps Levi's uncle through tests connected to reclaiming a throne. Steam lists single-player, partial controller support, and Family Sharing. Its Steam platforms are Windows, macOS, and Linux.
