What it is

Tales of Aravorn: Seasons of the Wolf is a story-focused fantasy adventure with visual novel elements, party development, and tactical turn-based combat. Players follow one of two elven twins, Shea or Althea, as a journey that begins in the frozen village of Ninim expands across Aravorn. Decisions shape relationships, companions, and the story’s outcome over the course of a year. The party can include eight companions, and character growth draws on nine classes, attributes, skills, and randomized loot. Battles call for choosing skills and adapting tactics to different enemies. Exploration takes place across isometric maps with locations, quests, and opportunities to gain experience, as the journey reaches places including the desert city of Dingirra and the open sea. Developed by Riva Celso and published by Winter Wolves, it launched on January 15, 2015. It is available on Windows, macOS, and Linux, with single-player play, Steam Cloud, achievements, and partial controller support.
