What it is

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a puzzle platformer from Frozenbyte, released in 2019. Wizard Amadeus, knight Pontius and thief Zoya set out to find Prince Selius after his dark dreams send nightmares into the waking world. Puzzles use elements such as fire, water, light, magnets and electricity, and can be tackled alone or with friends. Amadeus conjures and levitates objects, Pontius uses sword and shield, and Zoya grapples across gaps and fires arrows. You can switch between the heroes when playing solo, or play the campaign with up to three friends in online or local co-op. The campaign has eighteen levels across varied settings, and skill trees let the heroes improve their abilities. Six additional Melody of Mystery levels are available separately or with the base game in the Trine 4: Definitive Edition bundle. Steam lists Windows, adjustable text size, and shared or split-screen co-op.
