GamesBeat’s 2024 announcement claimed that inclusive game companies could generate “$500M+ of additional incremental monthly revenue” and “double the average spending of women players.” The retrieved article does not identify the underlying study, publisher, methodology, or year for either claim. They should therefore be treated as claims in the announcement, not as independently verified findings.
The same article described the game-playing audience as “3 billion strong,” but likewise did not provide a source, methodology, or year for that figure. Its 2025 update date does not establish when any of these figures were measured or published.
