GameStop’s reported Cyber Monday 2025 offer was $35 each for four games on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, down from a stated regular price of $69.99. The sale had ended by the December 1 update to Windows Central’s report, so those prices are historical—not current offers.
Which games were included in GameStop’s reported sale?
Windows Central reported the same $35 sale price for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of these four games. Each was listed as half off its stated $69.99 regular price.

When was Cyber Monday 2025, and was the GameStop sale still live?
Cyber Monday 2025 fell on Monday, December 1. Retailers had begun using Cyber Monday messaging earlier, and some promotions could continue afterward, but Windows Central’s update on December 1 specifically said GameStop’s sale had ended. The reported $35 price should not be treated as available now.

How did the reported prices compare with other retailers?
In its December 1 update, Windows Central reported Battlefield 6 at Amazon for $49.99, separate from GameStop’s earlier $35 price. Contributor Brendan Lowry wrote that “I’ve gone ahead and updated all four of these deals to reflect current pricing; notably, Battlefield 6 dropped to $49.99, which is a terrific deal (albeit not as good as GameStop’s original $35 offer).” That was a description of prices in the update, not a verification of current Amazon stock or pricing.
The same report also listed contemporaneous offers for Borderlands 4 at Loaded, Assassin’s Creed Shadows at Best Buy, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater at Walmart and Best Buy. Those were separate, dated retailer comparisons—not GameStop prices or present-day recommendations. The report does not establish current availability, shipping, or a current best deal for any of these games.

Were Nintendo’s holiday promotions part of the GameStop game sale?
No. Nintendo’s U.S. holiday announcement described separate promotions and an event, not the four GameStop discounts above. Nintendo said its Cyber Deals sale ran from November 20 through December 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PT. It also described discounts on select physical Switch games and amiibo at select retailers, and $20 off MSRP on Samsung MicroSD Express cards beginning November 30 at select locations.
Nintendo additionally said local GameStop stores would host game demonstrations on December 6. That event was distinct from the reported $35 game offers. See Nintendo’s November 10, 2025 announcement for the separate promotions and demo date.
