Who gets early access?
Early access is available to players who buy the Premium Edition or subscribe to Game Pass and add the Premium Upgrade. Standard Game Pass access is listed for October 6, not October 1. Xbox Wire announced the access dates on September 17 and clarified the Premium Upgrade route in its October 1 launch post.

Gears of War: E-Day PC system requirements
The official Xbox Wire post describes its PC specifications as the complete, final requirements for launch, but the requirement rows are presented in an image. The image was updated September 28; the accessible article text does not provide the CPU, memory, operating-system, or tier-by-tier GPU values, so those figures cannot be reliably reproduced here. Use the current specification image in Xbox Wire’s official PC requirements post to check your system before installing.

For a limited readiness check, PC Gamer reported on October 1 that the game requires a ray-tracing-capable graphics card and 115 GB of free SSD space. Those are secondary-report figures, not a replacement for the full official requirements table.
