NVIDIA’s December 12, 2024 GeForce NOW update added Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered. NVIDIA listed Indiana Jones as available from December 8 and Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered from December 10. The games were added to GeForce NOW’s supported catalog—not included as free game licenses—so you still need the relevant purchase or subscription entitlement.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on GeForce NOW
MachineGames’ single-player adventure arrived on GeForce NOW during its December 2024 launch window. NVIDIA’s listing dated availability to December 8, 2024. The supported PC pathways identified by NVIDIA were Steam and the Microsoft Store/Xbox PC ecosystem; its December 10 announcement said PC Game Pass support would follow the next week.
The cloud version is most useful when your own computer cannot comfortably render the game. NVIDIA promoted full ray tracing, DLSS 3, Frame Generation and Super Resolution for the title. Ultimate members were the target audience for the highest-end supported cloud hardware in that announcement, but the actual image quality and responsiveness depend on your membership tier, assigned cloud rig, client resolution, region, game configuration and network.
These features do not turn a GeForce NOW session into a fixed specification. NVIDIA’s historical post mentioned up-to-1440p Performance and up-to-4K/120-fps Ultimate capabilities for that period; plan limits and service specifications can change, so check the current membership page before subscribing.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered joins the library
NVIDIA listed Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered as a new Steam release on GeForce NOW from December 10, 2024. Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics’ collection updates the first two Soul Reaver games with revised character and environmental visuals, improved controls, new lighting effects, a map and compass, and a photo mode.
NVIDIA’s announcement identifies Steam as the storefront for this GeForce NOW listing. It does not establish support for Epic Games Store, GOG, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch editions. Those versions may be playable on their own platforms, but they are not interchangeable with a supported GeForce NOW PC entitlement.
Unlike Indiana Jones, the remaster is not primarily a demanding graphics showcase. Streaming it is mainly about removing installation friction and making a classic collection accessible across compatible computers, browsers, TVs and other devices.
Do you need to buy the games separately?
Yes. GeForce NOW supplies remote gaming hardware and streaming access; it generally does not grant the game license. NVIDIA describes the service as streaming full PC versions that members already own or can access through linked storefronts and services.

| Game | GeForce NOW pathway identified by NVIDIA | Availability date in the update | What you still need |
|---|---|---|---|
| Indiana Jones and the Great Circle | Steam; Microsoft Store/Xbox PC ecosystem; PC Game Pass announced for the following week | December 8, 2024 | A supported PC entitlement plus GeForce NOW access |
| Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered | Steam | December 10, 2024 | A Steam license plus GeForce NOW access |
An Xbox console purchase should not automatically be treated as a GeForce NOW license. The relevant distinction is whether you have a supported PC entitlement—such as Microsoft Store PC ownership, an applicable Xbox Play Anywhere entitlement, or PC Game Pass access. NVIDIA’s announcement confirms the PC/storefront routes, not universal transfer of every console purchase.

- Collect artifacts through the game to unlock more than 60 playable characters, including villains and supporting characters; enjoy character swapping and free-play abilities along with two-player drop-in, drop-out cooperative gameplay.

- Jump into all new vehicles to help Indy get through all the new levels including planes, boats and mine carts - but watch out for the quicksand; Use a variety of weapons from the environment to fight enemies (e.g., chairs, guns, swords, bottles).
- Free: useful for testing whether your device and connection work, subject to whatever queue, session and quality limits NVIDIA currently applies.
- Performance: a sensible option for regular streaming when you want better image quality and fewer restrictions than the free tier.
- Ultimate: the most appropriate historical fit for Indiana Jones if you want NVIDIA’s highest-end supported cloud hardware and RTX features, subject to current regional availability and specifications.
A subscription is a poor value if you do not own a supported game entitlement, need offline play, or have unstable Wi-Fi, high latency or a restrictive data cap.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Should you stream either game?
Choose GeForce NOW for Indiana Jones when hardware is the obstacle
- You already own the Steam or Microsoft Store PC version, or have supported PC Game Pass access.
- Your current laptop or desktop cannot run the game comfortably.
- You want to play on a Mac, Chromebook, lightweight Windows laptop, supported TV or another compatible device.
- Your internet connection is stable enough for responsive streamed play.
Choose it for Soul Reaver when convenience matters
- You own the Steam remaster and want to avoid a local installation.
- You value access across several devices or are revisiting the series without configuring an older release.
- You understand that cloud streaming is a convenience benefit, not a major performance upgrade for this comparatively modest PC title.
Play locally when control or reliability matters more
Local play remains preferable for offline access, mods, predictable latency and complete control of installation and graphics settings. If you already have a capable gaming PC, GeForce NOW may add little beyond convenience. Buying new hardware solely for Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered would usually be difficult to justify; for Indiana Jones, a local upgrade makes more sense only if you also want offline play and the broader benefits of owning a powerful PC.
If GeForce NOW cannot find your game
Ownership alone does not guarantee that the correct listing will appear. Check these practical possibilities:
- Search GeForce NOW for the exact game title and confirm the storefront label.
- Make sure the linked account is the one that owns the Steam or Microsoft Store PC version.
- If you use Game Pass, verify that PC access is active rather than console-only access.
- Relink the relevant storefront account if the entitlement is not detected.
- Allow for regional catalog differences or a delay before a new listing appears.
- Check NVIDIA’s current supported-games search if the title no longer appears; catalog availability can change.
As of the information documented for the December 2024 update, these dates and storefronts describe when the games were added. They do not by themselves prove that either title remains playable in every region in 2026.
