Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 joined NVIDIA GeForce NOW on September 5, 2024, but early access was limited to owners of the Steam Gold or Ultra Edition. The same weekly update added six other games, including Age of Mythology: Retold, The Casting of Frank Stone and Sins of a Solar Empire II.
This was a September 2024 update—not a current-week catalog announcement. GeForce NOW streamed the supported PC versions; it did not include Space Marine 2 or the other games automatically with a membership.
What was added to GeForce NOW?
According to the September 5, 2024 report, NVIDIA added seven games during the week of September 2–8:

Space Marine 2 required the right Steam edition
The important limitation was the game’s edition and storefront. GeForce NOW supported the Steam version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and the September 5 early-access launch applied to owners of the Gold Edition or Ultra Edition.
The standard edition was scheduled for its broader release on September 9, 2024. Standard-edition owners were not permanently excluded; they simply did not receive the September 5 early-access window.

A console copy did not substitute for the Steam PC license described in the announcement. The game also was not included automatically with a GeForce NOW membership. Users needed both access to the cloud service and a qualifying game license or entitlement. See the official Steam listing for the game’s edition information.

- Confirm that you own the game—or have the specified PC Game Pass entitlement—in the supported storefront.
- Open GeForce NOW and search for the title.
- Select the matching storefront, such as Steam, Epic Games Store or Xbox.
- Sign in with the account that owns the license or provides the subscription access.
- If the license is not recognized, sign out and check that you have not selected the wrong storefront or account.
A title can appear in the GeForce NOW catalog while still refusing to launch if the selected account lacks the required PC license. Regional availability, maintenance and later catalog changes can also affect access.

Separate Ubisoft and Epic account change
The report also noted a planned October 2024 change for eligible Ubisoft games purchased through the Epic Games Store. Users would need to select Ubisoft Connect in GeForce NOW and link their Epic and Ubisoft accounts, rather than relying on the previous Epic-based launch method.
