Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II joined GeForce NOW on its May 21, 2024 launch day. NVIDIA’s May 23 update listed seven additions in total: five new releases arriving May 21 or May 23, plus two existing Steam games. The update is historical; check NVIDIA’s current catalog before assuming any of these titles remain available to stream.
Which games did GeForce NOW add?
NVIDIA’s May 23, 2024 announcement grouped the new-release additions and the two existing Steam titles below. The dates shown are the release dates NVIDIA listed, not a claim that every game launched on the same day.

NVIDIA’s announcement is the source for the list, stores, release dates, and the distinction between new releases and catalog additions. “Five launch-day games” is an imprecise shorthand: the five new releases were spread across May 21 and May 23.

Was Hellblade II available on GeForce NOW on launch day?
Yes. NVIDIA said Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II was available on GeForce NOW day-and-date with its May 21, 2024 release. The May 23 roundup came two days later, which is why its publication date and the game’s launch date differ.

The title was a major cinematic Unreal Engine 5 release from Ninja Theory and Xbox Game Studios. NVIDIA separately announced day-one support for DLSS 2, DLSS 3 Frame Generation, and Reflex for the PC version. These are PC game features; their presence does not by itself guarantee that every device or streaming configuration will deliver a particular image quality or frame rate. NVIDIA’s Game Ready Driver announcement describes that PC support.
What do you need to play it through the cloud?
GeForce NOW streams supported PC games; its membership is separate from access to the game itself. NVIDIA named Steam, Xbox, and PC Game Pass in connection with Hellblade II in 2024. Use the corresponding supported PC storefront or subscription entitlement, and sign in to the account that has access to it.

- A GeForce NOW membership lets you use the streaming service; it should not be treated as a purchase of every game in its catalog.
- A Steam copy is a PC storefront entitlement. A console-only purchase or entitlement should not be assumed to transfer to a PC version playable through GeForce NOW.
- PC Game Pass access depends on the subscription and the title’s current availability. A Game Pass console entitlement alone is not proof of PC access.
- Catalog presence and storefront support can change. Confirm the game’s current listing and supported version in the GeForce NOW service before subscribing or troubleshooting.
Which membership tier makes sense?
NVIDIA’s May 2024 announcement positioned paid memberships for higher-resolution and higher-frame-rate streaming than its free option. It described Ultimate as capable of streaming up to 4K at 120 frames per second through RTX 4080-class cloud infrastructure at that time. That was a historical maximum, not a guaranteed output or a statement of current plan limits. NVIDIA’s present plans, availability, and terms should be checked on its live service page.

- Priority: Consider it if you want paid-tier access and moderate resolution or frame-rate targets rather than the highest advertised ceiling.
- Ultimate: Most relevant if your display and device can use higher resolutions or refresh rates and you want the premium cloud hardware option. It is not required just to play the game.
Higher-tier hardware cannot correct an unstable connection, high latency, packet loss, or a display that cannot show the target resolution and refresh rate. Actual performance also depends on device, app, region, game settings, and current service rules.

What to check if it does not appear or launch
- Search the exact title in GeForce NOW. Confirm that it is currently listed and supported; an announcement from 2024 does not establish catalog availability today.
- Check your edition and storefront. Launch the PC version associated with the supported store, rather than assuming a console purchase transfers.
- Verify account access. Sign in to the Steam or Xbox account that owns or provides access to the game. For PC Game Pass, check the active subscription and current title availability.
- Reconnect the relevant library if needed. Confirm that the storefront account is linked and that GeForce NOW can see the library entitlement before investigating game-specific launch errors.
- For blurry or unstable streaming, check the connection first. Try wired Ethernet or strong 5 GHz/6 GHz Wi-Fi, reduce competing network traffic, and review streaming-quality settings in the app.
- For input delay, reduce the network path where possible. Use a wired controller or low-latency wireless connection and, where the service allows it, select a nearby data center. Congested public Wi-Fi or cellular service can add latency.
- If 4K or 120 FPS is unavailable, check the whole setup. Confirm plan, region, device, app, display capability, and the display’s refresh-rate setting. “Up to” describes a ceiling, not a promise; network conditions and game settings can lower the delivered result.
Why the date in some coverage may look different
The relevant GeForce NOW update was announced by NVIDIA on May 23, 2024. A third-party page carrying the headline “GeForce NOW adds 5 launch day games, including Hellblade II” is dated June 20, 2024, even though its subject is the May release week. Treat June 20 as that page’s date, not the date NVIDIA announced the seven additions. The third-party page and NVIDIA’s dated announcement show the discrepancy.
