Genshin Impact Version 4.1 launched on September 27, 2023, after its Special Program aired on September 15. Its three livestream codes have expired, and its character banners are no longer available. If you are looking for an Android download, use the official distribution route—not an APK mirror.

The official Version 4.1 Special Program is the broadcast record. The release date, title, Fontaine expansion and new five-star characters were also confirmed in the PlayStation announcement.
Version 4.1 livestream codes: all expired
The official broadcast description gave the codes a deadline of September 16, 2023, at 00:00 UTC−4. They cannot now be redeemed. At the time, each code awarded 100 Primogems, for 300 total, plus the listed materials.

The reward breakdown was recorded in a contemporary code list. Livestream codes are time-limited promotions, not permanent codes; old code pages may still display them even though the deadline has passed.
How code redemption worked
When a code was active, players could redeem it in-game or through the official website. Those steps are useful for understanding the process, but they do not make the expired Version 4.1 codes claimable now.

In the game
- Open Genshin Impact and the Paimon Menu.
- Select Settings, then Account, then Redeem Code.
- Enter the active code and confirm.
- Open the in-game mailbox on the intended character to collect the reward.
On the official redemption page
- Sign in at HoYoverse’s Genshin Impact redemption page with the account linked to the game.
- Select the correct server and character, enter an active code and submit it.
- Collect the reward from that character’s in-game mailbox.

Common redemption messages
- Code expired: expected for these Version 4.1 codes, whose deadline was in September 2023.
- Already redeemed: the account has claimed that code before; a code normally cannot be claimed repeatedly on one account.
- Wrong account or server: check which HoYoverse account and character were selected. Mail is delivered to the selected character, not directly to every character on the account.
- No reward visible: check the correct character’s mailbox, then restart the client and verify the account and server used for redemption.
- Not eligible: code redemption has had account-progression eligibility rules. Contemporary guides commonly cited Adventure Rank 10, but that should not be assumed to be a timeless rule for every current promotion.
Use HoYoverse’s official page rather than third-party “auto-claim” services, and check any new code’s own deadline and eligibility.
Version 4.1 banner schedule
Both phases are over. The pairing and dates below are historical; banner start and end times can vary by server and local region.

Neuvillette was a new Hydro catalyst user, while Wriothesley was a new Cryo catalyst user. The contemporary Version 4.1 recap identifies Wriothesley’s phase with Venti. These are confirmed historical pairings, not predictions or currently available banners.
How to think about those banners
Pull value depends on the account, desired playstyle and future plans—not simply on a character’s rarity. Neuvillette and Wriothesley were new on-field damage options with distinct Hydro and Cryo playstyles. For Hu Tao or Venti, ownership, constellation goals and whether the roster needs a Pyro damage dealer or Anemo crowd control would have mattered. Players with limited Primogems would also have needed to weigh a banner against later characters, weapons or reruns rather than trying to obtain every featured character.
What the 4.1 livestream announced
Fontaine exploration and story
Version 4.1 expanded Fontaine with the Fortress of Meropide and surrounding underwater content. The update continued the Archon Quest, adding story developments alongside the new explorable area. The PlayStation announcement confirms the expansion and its release context.
Events, minigames and anniversary rewards
The program also previewed limited-time events and minigames for the version. Anniversary-related mailbox rewards were separate from the three livestream codes: the Version 4.1 rollout included 1,600 Primogems, four Fragile Resin and two gadgets. Those rollout rewards should not be added to the codes’ 300-Primogem total or mistaken for codes that remain claimable.
Is there an official Genshin Impact 4.1 APK?
There is no need to seek out a separate “4.1 APK” from a mirror. Android players should use the official Google Play listing or begin at the official Genshin Impact website for current distribution guidance. The site identifies HoYoPlay as the PC route; iOS players should use the App Store, and console players their platform’s official store. Version 4.1 itself is historical, so a current official channel installs or updates the current supported game rather than offering 4.1 as a separate version.
Why APK mirrors are a risk
- A third-party package can be modified, outdated, incompatible with the live client or bundled with malware; an “unlimited Primogems” or private-server APK is not an official client.
- Do not enter HoYoverse credentials into a mirror’s installer or login screen, and avoid packages requesting permissions unrelated to the game.
- Do not confuse an APK with a patch file or a pre-install package. A legitimate installation may still require a large additional download of game assets.
- Check storage, compatibility and regional availability on the live platform listing; those details can change over time.
If the game will not install or update
- Open the official platform store or HoYoPlay and check for the game’s current update.
- Confirm that the device meets the live listing’s compatibility requirements and has enough free storage for installation and downloaded assets.
- Use a stable connection, preferably Wi-Fi, while the game downloads its resources.
- If the official route still fails, consult the platform’s support or HoYoverse’s official site rather than substituting an APK from an unverified source.
