Alchemical Ascension was a Version 4.5 event in which players brewed potions, stocked a shop, and responded to Market News and customer requests. For a requested potion, match its efficacy and characteristic using the ingredient property table below; for Market News, follow the prompt currently shown in your game. The opening prompts were shared, but later news could be randomized, and guides sometimes disagree on the best tags for the same wording.
This is a guide to the 2024 event, not confirmation that it is currently playable or returning. Its rewards and objectives below refer to that Version 4.5 event.
How Alchemical Ascension worked
The event loop was to grow or use ingredients, place them in the cauldron, concoct potions, stock the shop, and respond to cycle-specific Market News. Potions were defined by two main properties: an efficacy, such as Strength or Wisdom, and a characteristic, such as Endurance or Healing. A prompt might request one property or a combination.
Think in properties rather than memorizing a single tile diagram. The cauldron grid is limited and randomized, and ingredient levels, available space, and upgrades affect what you can place and the resulting potion. The ingredient suggestions here identify tags; they are not guaranteed layouts or claims of optimal brewing.

When a request gives a specific combination, aim to satisfy it directly. When Market News offers several demand cues, use the actual text and board in your game rather than assuming another player’s cycle order or treating every tag listed by a guide as mandatory.
Ingredient properties and practical recipes
Use this reference to find ingredients that supply a needed efficacy or characteristic. The labels follow the reported ingredient mapping; Sumeru Rose is listed with “Fragrance,” while other event references use “Fragrant.” When the game displays a specific label, use that in-game wording.

- Wisdom + Healing: Qingxin.
- Wisdom + Technique: Windwheel Aster or Lumidouce Bell.
- Dexterity + Relaxing: Dandelion or Zaytun Peach.
- Strength + Warm: Jueyun Chili or Flaming Flower.
- Constitution + Strengthening: Sweet Flower.
- Charisma + Fragrant: Marcotte.
These are property matches, not a promise that one ingredient alone will meet a requested potion level or grade. Add ingredients and arrange them according to the grid and the potion requirements shown in your game.

These are reported later-event prompts, not a fixed schedule. Several guides give conflicting property recommendations for similar wording. The mismatch is a reason to read the Market News in your own game, not to combine every listed tag into a universal recipe.

Special customers and Sucrose’s exams
Guest requests and exams can be more specific than Market News. A customer may name a property combination, while an exam can also require a minimum grade or level. The following objectives were reported in event guides; check the guest dialogue or exam panel for the exact requirement presented to your character.

Progression and rewards
A Phase 3 event guide reports that from Cycle 25 players could concoct without a per-cycle cap as long as ingredients remained. It recommends using excess funds for potion enhancement, leveling ingredients to unlock additional placement shapes, and checking the reward page before the event ends.
