For a general Clorinde build, start with an ATK% sands, Electro DMG goblet, and CRIT circlet, then choose between four-piece Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy and Thundering Fury based on your team. In Quickbloom with Furina, Thundering Fury is a particularly strong option; for a four-star weapon, consider Calamity of Eshu if you can keep Clorinde shielded, or Finale of the Deep and The Black Sword as alternatives. There is no universally agreed best set or weapon: rankings vary by guide and assumptions.
This guide reflects Version 7.1 pages accessed October 8, 2026. Clorinde is a five-star Electro Sword on-field DPS whose damage loop revolves around her Skill state and Bond of Life. Her ideal weapon, artifact set, and teammates depend on your roster, reaction plan, and how comfortably you can execute the rotation.
How Clorinde’s kit affects her build
Clorinde’s Skill puts her into a special state, infuses her Normal Attacks with Electro, and creates Bond of Life. Using her Skill again consumes that Bond of Life for a stronger attack and self-healing. While the state is active, healing from teammates adds to her Bond of Life instead of immediately restoring her HP.
Her Skill-state hits count as Normal Attack damage for effects. Do not assume an effect worded to trigger when a Skill hits will activate just because Clorinde is using her Skill.

Clorinde’s A4 passive grants 20% CRIT Rate, but that bonus is not displayed in her ordinary out-of-combat stats. Include it when evaluating gear so you do not overcap CRIT Rate. A build that appears to have room for more CRIT Rate in the character screen may already be close to its practical limit.
Best weapons: choose for your roster and conditions
Weapon rankings are guide recommendations, not a single settled result. Genshin-Build.com’s Version 7.1 ranking puts Light of Foliar Incision first, followed by Absolution, Calamity of Eshu, and Mistsplitter Reforged; it describes its ranking as arithmetic based on kit data, not a damage measurement or imported playtest ranking. The Genshin Impact Helper Team instead ranks Absolution first and Beyond the Chrysalis second, with Haran Geppaku Futsu, Mistsplitter Reforged, Light of Foliar Incision, and Uraku Misugiri among its upper alternatives.
If you do not have a five-star sword, there are usable four-star choices. Match the weapon to its activation conditions and to your actual team rather than treating one ranking as universal.
| Weapon | Rarity | Practical consideration |
|---|---|---|
| Light of Foliar Incision | Five-star | Genshin-Build.com ranks it first; the Helper Team also lists it among upper alternatives. |
| Absolution | Five-star | The Helper Team ranks it first; Genshin-Build.com ranks it second. |
| Beyond the Chrysalis | Five-star | The Helper Team ranks it second. |
| Mistsplitter Reforged | Five-star | Included among upper options by both guides. |
| Calamity of Eshu | Four-star | Its ranking assumes Clorinde is shielded. Check whether your team can maintain that condition. |
| Finale of the Deep | Four-star | Listed as an option by the Helper Team; check its passive and rotation requirements against your play pattern. |
| The Black Sword | Four-star | Listed as an option by the Helper Team; account for its CRIT Rate when choosing artifacts. |
The Helper Team guide also flags possible CRIT overcap and rotation requirements for weapon passives. Some effects may require a shield or using Burst before Skill, so a nominally higher-ranked sword can be less convenient if its condition does not fit your rotation.

Best artifacts and main stats
Two four-piece sets are credible general choices, with their relative value changing by team. The Helper Team ranks Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy first overall and Thundering Fury as a close alternative. Genshin-Build.com recommends Thundering Fury, and the Helper Team says Thundering Fury can outperform Whimsy in Quickbloom with Furina. Compare the sets using the team and rotation you actually play.
| Artifact setup | When to consider it |
|---|---|
| Four-piece Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy | The Helper Team’s overall first-ranked set; a strong general option. |
| Four-piece Thundering Fury | Genshin-Build.com’s recommended set; also a close alternative in the Helper Team guide and especially competitive in Quickbloom with Furina. |
Use this baseline for either set:
- Sands: ATK% in most teams; consider Elemental Mastery in Quickbloom.
- Goblet: Electro DMG Bonus.
- Circlet: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG, chosen with Clorinde’s hidden 20% A4 CRIT Rate and your weapon substats in mind.
- Substats: prioritize CRIT, then ATK%; Elemental Mastery gains value in Quickbloom. Energy Recharge can help with Burst uptime, but should not be prioritized over offensive stats.
Genshin-Build.com lists Normal Attack, then Skill, then Burst as talent priority. Its guide notes that Clorinde’s Burst costs 60 Energy.

Pick the reaction archetype that fits the characters you own and the damage you want to emphasize. Clorinde’s personal damage is only one part of team performance, and rotation comfort can matter as much as a guide ranking.
Aggravate
Pair Clorinde with Dendro application and usually another Electro teammate. The Helper Team guide identifies Nahida as a notable Dendro partner. This is a natural starting point when you can support consistent Dendro and Electro interactions.
Quickbloom
Add Hydro to the Dendro/Electro core. Furina is specifically named in the artifact comparison: with her, Thundering Fury can outperform Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy. If you use this archetype, an Elemental Mastery sands is also a reasonable option to compare against ATK%.
Overload
Build around an Electro/Pyro composition. GameWith describes Chevreuse as support for a pure Electro/Pyro team and identifies a Hexerei pairing with Durin and another Hexerei character as a high-performing version for Clorinde’s personal damage. That is a specific team recommendation, not proof that this setup is best for every roster.
Lunar-Charged
GameWith includes Lunar-Charged among Clorinde team options, but the cited guide material does not establish it as universally best. Treat it as an option to evaluate against your available characters rather than a default recommendation.
How to decide between builds
- Start with your roster. Choose a reaction plan you can support with the Dendro, Hydro, Electro, or Pyro characters available to you.
- Choose the artifact set for that team. Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy is a strong general choice; compare Thundering Fury closely, especially for Quickbloom with Furina.
- Check weapon conditions. Calamity of Eshu assumes a shield, while other weapon effects can depend on rotation order. Prefer a weapon whose passive you can activate reliably.
- Balance CRIT with the passive included. Add Clorinde’s hidden A4 20% CRIT Rate to the rate shown out of combat before deciding whether your artifacts need more.
- Favor a rotation you can execute. Mobalytics describes Clorinde as relatively rotationally inflexible with short uptime, and notes that ATK buffs can be less valuable for her than for typical ATK scalers because of her passive. Those are guide judgments; test the setup against your own rotations and team.
All build and team recommendations here come from third-party guides and theorycraft pages; their ranking methods are not uniform, and there is no official HoYoverse verification in the cited material. Treat Version 7.1 recommendations as time-sensitive and recheck them after significant game updates.
