New characters and their banner phases
Phase 1: Lauma
Lauma debuted as a five-star Dendro Catalyst user. HoYoverse describes her kit as converting Bloom into Lunar-Bloom and using Verdant Dew. Nahida’s rerun shared the phase’s five-star lineup.

Phase 2: Flins and Aino
Flins debuted as a five-star Electro Polearm user whose damage includes Lunar-Charged attacks. Yelan returned alongside him as a five-star rerun. Aino, a four-star Hydro Claymore user, was also featured in this phase.
Aino had another acquisition route: players could invite her into the party through the new Archon Quest. That meant a wish was not required to obtain her.

Why Luna I introduced Lauma and Flins
Luna I introduced Nod-Krai and began a year-long Song of the Welkin Moon version series. Its new Lunar reactions connect the update’s setting and combat systems to the debuts: Lauma’s kit centers on Lunar-Bloom, while Flins deals Lunar-Charged damage. HoYoverse’s announcement outlines those character mechanics and the update’s broader context.

Choosing between the phases
For a historical comparison, Phase 1 paired a new five-star, Lauma, with Nahida’s rerun; Phase 2 paired Flins’s debut with Yelan’s rerun. The four-star lineups differed as shown in the schedule. Which phase would have suited a particular account depended on its roster and priorities; the banner details alone do not establish a universal pull recommendation.
