Version 5.0 went live on August 28, 2024, opening Natlan, described by HoYoverse as Teyvat’s sixth major nation. HoYoverse announced the release date on August 16, 2024. Which characters were introduced in Natlan 5.0?
Mualani
Mualani is a five-star Hydro catalyst user from the People of the Springs. She rides a Sharky Surfboard for traversal.

Kachina
Kachina is a four-star Geo polearm user from the Children of Echoes. Players could unlock her for free by completing Act I of Natlan’s Archon Quest.
Kinich
Kinich is a five-star Dendro claymore user from the Scions of the Canopy. His grappling hook supports movement and attacks.
HoYoverse also said Natlan’s three playable characters could locate and mark local specialties. Their party benefits differed: Kachina restores Stamina, Kinich increases Movement Speed, and Mualani restores Phlogiston. HoYoverse’s version 5.0 announcement.
