Natlan was the update’s central new region, with tribes, Saurians, and characters including Kachina, Kinich, and Mualani. HoYoverse Studio Technical Director Zhenzhong Yi described Natlan as “the sixth major nation of Teyvat” in a HoYoverse-authored PlayStation Blog overview.
How players could access Natlan in 5.0
According to that 2024 overview, players who had completed the Mondstadt Prologue could travel to Natlan using an unlocked Teleport Waypoint. Players at Adventure Rank 28 or higher who had completed Liyue’s Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III could start Natlan’s Archon Quests without first completing the intervening nations’ prerequisite quests.
