HoYoverse estimated it would last five hours, putting the planned end at about 11:00 UTC+8 on May 7 (03:00 UTC). That was an estimate, not confirmation of when servers actually reopened. This is a historical schedule, so there is no live countdown to the 5.6 maintenance window.
When did Genshin Impact 5.6 maintenance start?
HoYoverse announced that maintenance would begin on May 7, 2025, at 06:00 UTC+8. That is May 6 at 22:00 UTC. The time conversion matters: the date differs depending on whether you are reading the schedule in UTC+8 or UTC.
The announced window is in the past. HoYoverse’s Version 5.6 details notice gives the planned timing; its Italian-language mirror also states the start and estimated duration.
How long was maintenance expected to take?
HoYoverse estimated about five hours of maintenance. Adding five hours to the announced 06:00 UTC+8 start gives an estimated end of around 11:00 UTC+8 on May 7 (03:00 UTC). This is a calculated end time based on the publisher’s estimate, not a reported server reopening time. The notice does not establish when maintenance actually finished.

Is there a 5.6 maintenance countdown?
No live countdown applies to this past maintenance window. The schedule was for May 7, 2025; as of October 8, 2026, a timer to that start or estimated end would count down to a date that has already passed. For a future maintenance window, use a countdown only after HoYoverse has published and verified its schedule.
Could players log in during maintenance?
No. HoYoverse said players would be unable to log in while maintenance was in progress, so players needed to wait for the service to return before playing.
