GMKtec’s Black Friday page advertises mini PCs from $149.99 to $3,799.99, but its “lowest price of the year” wording is a manufacturer claim—not proof of an all-time low. The strongest apparent values are the M6 Ultra, K12 and K8 Plus for mainstream buyers; the EVO-X1 and EVO-X2 target local-AI and high-end integrated-graphics workloads. Verify the exact RAM, SSD, seller, coupon and checkout total before ordering.
The prices below are the figures shown in GMKtec’s promotional material dated August 18, 2026. Configuration, shipping, tax, warranty and return terms can change.

GMKtec’s official Black Friday page lists these advertised prices. Because the page does not expose every memory, storage, coupon and regional condition, “regular price,” savings and configuration status are marked accordingly rather than inferred.

Best picks by workload
Gaming
Best premium candidate: EVO-X2. Its Ryzen AI Max+ 395 platform is the most serious integrated-graphics option in this list. Historical coverage describes desktop-class potential, but that does not make it equivalent to a desktop with a current discrete graphics card. Check game-specific tests, memory bandwidth, cooling noise and power limits.
Best balanced option: K8 Plus. Its Ryzen 7 8845HS platform is a more affordable route to demanding everyday work and video editing. TechRadar highlighted its upgradeability and reported one Amazon configuration at $650 versus $900: TechRadar’s K8 Plus coverage. The $489.99 GMKtec figure is a different configuration until proven otherwise.
Other candidates: EVO-X1 and NucBox K11 suit buyers wanting premium integrated graphics; K12 and M6 Ultra are sensible only for esports, older games, indie titles, emulation or reduced settings. Do not assume any of these systems runs current AAA games at high settings without independent results for the exact RAM configuration.

Local AI
EVO-X1 and EVO-X2 are the credible choices for heavier local inference because processor class, GPU resources and available memory matter together. An NPU can accelerate supported low-power features, but NPU TOPS alone says little about running a particular model.
- Confirm support for your application and backend, such as Ollama, LM Studio, ComfyUI, DirectML or ROCm.
- Check model size, quantization, context length and memory requirements.
- Unified memory can help fit larger models, but it may be expensive or impossible to upgrade.
- Integrated-GPU systems can be useful for inference yet remain poor choices for training large models.
No independent benchmark for these exact Black Friday configurations was established. Treat tokens-per-second or compatibility claims as manufacturer claims unless the test identifies the model, quantization, backend and thermals.
Productivity and office work
For basic browsing, documents and streaming, G10 and G11 are the inexpensive choices, provided their older processors meet your software requirements. M6 Ultra, M5 Ultra, M7 Ultra, M8 and K12 are better multitasking candidates. Prioritize display outputs, USB4, Ethernet speed, Wi-Fi generation, sleep/wake reliability and upgradeable storage over a higher CPU badge.

Video and creative work
K8 Plus is the clearest midrange candidate because independent coverage specifically identified it as suitable for video editing and noted upgrade potential. EVO-X1 and EVO-X2 make sense when sustained performance, memory capacity and compactness justify their price. Verify codec acceleration, RAM capacity, SSD slots and fan noise before treating any model as a workstation.

Not necessarily. The official page says “lowest price of the year,” while the evidence supports only selected, configuration-specific lows. TechRadar reported the M6 Ultra at $630 from $800 and explicitly said it was not the lowest price observed: M6 Ultra deal coverage.
For EVO-X2, historical reports cite $1,639 for Prime members and another promotion at $1,499.99: GSMGotech, Notebookcheck and Windows Central. Those prices cannot establish an all-time low for every EVO-X2 variant.

Use “lowest price we found” only after matching the exact RAM, SSD, seller and channel. A defensible “all-time low” must identify the retailer, configuration, date and price-history source. Never treat a manufacturer’s “was” price, a coupon checkout price, a Prime-only offer or a barebones listing as a universal historical benchmark.

Neither channel is automatically better. GMKtec may show the lower headline price; Amazon may offer faster delivery or simpler membership returns. Compare these items on the exact listing:
- Seller of record and whether the stock is new, renewed or used
- RAM, SSD, wireless module, Windows edition and power adapter
- Coupon, membership or checkout-code requirements
- Delivery date, tax and shipping cost
- Return window, return-shipping responsibility and restocking fees
- Warranty length, geographic coverage and who handles support
- Whether GMKtec will honor warranty service for marketplace purchases
GMKtec’s page promotes free gifts, but the gift, eligibility threshold and stock limit are not specified. Treat the offer as conditional until it appears in the cart.

What to check before ordering
- Open the product page and record the exact memory and storage configuration.
- Confirm whether RAM is socketed, soldered or unified; integrated graphics lose performance with single-channel memory.
- Check SSD slots, USB4 or OCuLink support, display outputs, Ethernet and Wi-Fi specifications.
- Verify Windows licensing, keyboard or plug region and included power adapter.
- Run the item through checkout and capture the final price after coupons, shipping and tax.
- Confirm seller identity, return shipping, warranty geography and support contact.
- Compare the final total with a price tracker for that exact retailer configuration.
- For gaming or AI, look for tests that state settings, model size, backend, noise and sustained-load behavior.
Buy, wait or skip

- M6 Ultra or K12: attractive starting points for compact productivity and light gaming if the shipped configuration includes adequate dual-channel memory.
- K8 Plus: buy when the exact configuration is near its verified market low and you need upgradeable creator or gaming performance.
- G10: sensible for basic office and media use under $300, not for modern games or serious AI.
Buy only for a specific requirement
EVO-X1 and EVO-X2 are justified when local AI memory capacity, integrated-GPU performance or a very small workstation matters more than discrete-GPU value. EVO-X3 is a specialist workstation purchase, not a general bargain.
Skip or wait
Wait when the listing hides RAM or SSD details, requires an unclear coupon, or uses a high “was” price without history. Skip a premium EVO system if your actual workload is browsing, office software or streaming; a cheaper mini PC or used business desktop is likely a better allocation of money.
Alternatives worth comparing
Before paying flagship-mini-PC money, compare a conventional small-form-factor desktop with a discrete GPU, a laptop using similar silicon, or competing mini PCs from Beelink and Minisforum. A larger small-form-factor desktop can provide replaceable graphics and easier servicing, while Beelink and Minisforum may offer different expansion and support trade-offs. Make the comparison with matching memory, storage, warranty and final delivered price.
The Bottom Line
GMKtec’s Black Friday prices are worth investigating, not accepting at face value. Start with M6 Ultra, K12 or K8 Plus for value; reserve EVO-X1 and EVO-X2 for buyers who genuinely need premium local-AI or integrated-graphics capability. Confirm the exact configuration, checkout total and historical price before calling any offer the lowest ever.
