What is the Gran Turismo 7 Power Pack?

PlayStation described Spec IV as a separate free update planned for later in 2026; that update is not the Power Pack. When did Power Pack come out?
Polyphony Digital announced a December 4, 2025 release date for the PS5 version of Gran Turismo 7. The content launched on that date; official Gran Turismo materials now describe it as available.
What does the Power Pack include?

Is the Power Pack available on PS4?
The announcement and official product materials identify the Power Pack with the PS5 version of Gran Turismo 7. The official information cited here does not establish a PS4 version of the DLC, so do not assume that owning the PS4 edition grants access. Check the listing for your PlayStation Store region and game edition before buying.

Do you need a racing wheel?
No racing wheel requirement is stated for Power Pack. Gran Turismo 7 supports controller play; PlayStation’s game page notes DualSense vibration and trigger effects. A wheel is an optional way to build a wheel-based setup, not a prerequisite for the DLC. PlayStation’s Gran Turismo 7 page provides the controller context.
