Grifta was designed as a gamepad made of two separate hand-held units: connect them with a bridge for a conventional controller layout, or use them apart. Its size-adjustment feature referred to three interchangeable soft-silicone handles—not a controller body that telescoped or expanded.
How the Grifta gamepad was designed to change
The campaign presented Grifta as a modular controller for performance and speed, including use alongside a gaming mouse. Contemporary coverage described a left unit with a directional pad and joystick, and a mirrored right unit with ABXY face buttons. Controls were described on both sides.
Join the two units
A bridge could connect the left and right units to create a more conventional gamepad configuration, called “Classic” in campaign-era descriptions.
Separate the two units
In “Split” mode, the halves could be held apart. The concept was intended to let a player position each hand independently rather than hold a single joined controller.

Change the grip size
Three interchangeable soft-silicone handles were described as options for changing the grip size and feel. That is what “changes size” means in the title: swapping handles to adapt the grip, not changing the dimensions of the controller electronics. The cited descriptions document the design intent; they do not establish that the handles were comfortable for every player or that they improved performance.
Campaign-era configurations and accessories
Contemporary coverage also described configurations beyond a joined controller. These were campaign-era concepts, not confirmation of present-day accessory support or availability.

What platforms was Grifta said to support?
New Atlas’s 2015-era report described compatibility with Windows, Android, and PlayStation 3. It said PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One required an adapter. These are dated compatibility claims, not evidence of support for current operating systems, console generations, games, or adapters.
What the Kickstarter result does—and does not—show
The Kickstarter campaign ran from February 16 to April 2, 2015. Its campaign page recorded 1,544 backers and £124,949 pledged toward a £65,000 goal. Those figures describe campaign pledges: they are not sales totals, shipment counts, or proof that every reward was delivered.

Current retail availability is unverified. Historical marketplace pages and user reports from 2017–2018 do not establish current stock, seller reliability, or an official store. Kickstarter’s record of a successfully funded campaign also does not confirm that every reward shipped. Treat the Grifta gamepad itself as the relevant product to search for; do not assume that bridge modules, alternate grips, Antlers, adapters, or mobile mounts are currently sold.
