As of October 7, 2026, Amazon’s October event is Prime Big Deal Days, running October 6–7—not June Prime Day. GTA VI is announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026, but no GTA VI discount or console deal has been verified for this sale. Treat the game and supported consoles as products to check, not confirmed deals, and recheck each listing’s price, stock, Prime eligibility and end time before buying.
What GTA 6 deals are available during Prime Big Deal Days?
Amazon describes Prime Big Deal Days as a 48-hour event for Prime members on October 6–7, 2026. The official event page establishes the dates, but not a specific GTA VI offer. Deal listings and prices can change during the event, so a sale roundup is not a fixed or complete inventory.
At the research timestamp of October 7, the event is on its final day. Check the live listing before purchase; the information here does not confirm an active discount, retailer stock or Prime eligibility for any GTA VI-related product.
What’s confirmed about GTA VI?
Take-Two Interactive has announced GTA VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a November 19, 2026 release date. Its announced U.S. prices are $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. These are announced prices, not confirmation of a current retailer price or discount. See Take-Two Interactive’s announcement and confirm regional pricing with the retailer.

Physical version means a code in a box
The announced boxed physical version contains a download code, not a game disc. Take-Two says digital preloading begins November 12 and that the boxed version will be available from November 12 to support preloading. Check the specific listing carefully if you want a boxed product; the packaging does not mean the game is supplied on disc.
Preorder bonus terms need checking
The publisher says preorders and purchases made before November 20 include the Vintage Vice City Pack, and that digital preorders include one free month of GTA+. Retailer, format and regional terms may affect eligibility. Confirm the listing’s current terms before relying on either bonus.

Which products are worth checking?
| Product | What is established | What to verify before buying |
|---|---|---|
| GTA VI Standard Edition | Announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S at a U.S. price of $79.99; boxed physical version is a download code in a box. | Current listing, platform, format, regional price, stock, preorder terms and whether any discount is live. |
| GTA VI Ultimate Edition | Announced U.S. price of $99.99. | Current listing, platform, included content, regional price, stock and any live discount. |
| PS5 or Xbox Series X|S console | Both platforms are announced for launch. | Exact console model, seller, stock, price and Prime eligibility. No console discount during this October event has been verified here. |
| Gaming headset | An optional gaming accessory, not a stated requirement for GTA VI. | Compatibility with your console, listing details, price and whether the offer is actually active. No specific October GTA VI headset deal has been verified. |
The announced launch platforms make a compatible console a practical product to consider if you do not already own one, but the announcement does not establish a performance difference between PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two says the game will be available through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store and global retailers; that does not guarantee a particular retailer has stock.
How to monitor a listing on Amazon
Amazon’s Prime Day guide describes several tools Prime members can use to follow products. Their availability can depend on the listing and account; they help monitor offers but do not prove that a deal exists.

- This product contains a download code inside the box — no disc is included. Customer shipments will begin arriving November 12 for pre-load; game is playable starting November 19.
- Pre-order to receive the Vintage Vice City Pack.
- Grand Theft Auto VI is a single-player experience.
- Use deal and price alerts, including personalized alerts, for products you are tracking.
- Check price history where it is available on an eligible product page.
- Use Lists to keep track of a console, game edition or accessory, then revisit the listings to check current terms.
- Review Lightning Deals promptly: an offer’s price, stock or availability may change before the event ends.
What to check before placing an order
- Price: Compare the live price with the announced U.S. game price where relevant; do not assume a listing is discounted because it appears in sale coverage.
- Eligibility and timing: Confirm Prime eligibility and the offer’s end time on the listing.
- Platform and edition: Make sure the item is for your console and is the edition you intend to buy.
- Format: For the boxed GTA VI version, verify that a code-in-a-box product is suitable for you.
- Bonuses and stock: Check current retailer terms for preorder bonuses and confirm availability before checkout.
For current event dates, consult Amazon’s Prime event page. For deal coverage that changes as listings are updated, see Tom’s Guide’s Prime Big Deal Days live coverage; it is event context, not confirmation of a GTA VI deal.
