A promotional GTA 6 package shown by creator TmarTn has prompted some social commenters to say they prefer its wearable, practical items to Rockstar’s $399.99 Vice City Collection. Those are anecdotal reactions, not a measure of what most fans think—and the creator gift has not been confirmed as a product available to buy.
What was in the creator gift bundle?
PC Guide reports that TmarTn opened a black Rockstar-branded box containing a blue baseball cap with a pink Rockstar logo, a matching T-shirt, stickers, a blue-and-pink GTA VI tote bag, and a Zippo lighter branded with Rockstar and Vice City. GamesRadar describes the same main items.
Dexerto separately reports that creators received unreleased T-shirts, tote bags, and a money clip. That money clip is not among the items PC Guide lists from TmarTn’s unboxing, so the reported contents may differ between creator packages.
The creator bundle’s appeal in the coverage is straightforward: clothing and a tote can be worn or used, while a themed collectible set is primarily for display or occasional use. That distinction helps explain the comparison, but it does not establish which package is better value.

What is the $399.99 Vice City Collection?
Rockstar describes the Vice City Collection as “A premium, limited-edition collectible set featuring all the essentials for a good time, inspired by Leonida’s hit TV show, Macca the Gator.” It is a separate product from the creator gift package.
PC Guide reports a $399.99 price and lists 11 merchandise pieces:

Do fans really prefer the creator bundle?
Some commenters quoted in coverage favored the creator merchandise. Dexerto reported one fan saying, “Rather have that than the collector’s edition.” That captures a reaction, not a representative poll or evidence that most fans agree. Other buyers may prefer a collection built around in-world memorabilia.

Can you buy the creator bundle, and does the collection include the game?
The available coverage does not confirm that the creator items are for sale to the public. GamesRadar and Dexerto raise future retail availability only as a possibility; neither establishes a launch or public shop listing. Treat the package as creator merchandise unless Rockstar announces otherwise.
The Vice City Collection is merchandise, not the game itself. Rockstar’s GTA VI editions page lists a separate Standard Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, available as “Digital or Code in Box.” “Code in Box” should not be read as confirmation of a disc edition.
