For the 2026 Ghosts Exposed route reported by GTA Boss, photograph ghosts at the locations below during their listed in-game hour. Ghosts 1–9 can be photographed in any order; Devin Weston, Ghost 10, appears at Paleto Cove only after the first nine are complete. The route and rewards here are reported by GTA Boss on October 1, 2026, and should not be treated as an official Rockstar confirmation of this year’s event.
All 10 Ghosts Exposed locations and times
Each ghost is available during a one-hour in-game window, which the guide says lasts about two minutes in real time. Ghosts 1–9 each have two possible nearby spawn spots; check both if the first is empty. Ghost 10 has one reported spot. The numbers below follow the guide’s numbering, so Ghost 10 is shown at midnight even though you must complete ghosts 1–9 first.

Location and timing details in the table are reported in GTA Boss’s 2026 guide. Halloween event routes can change by year, so don’t assume an older map matches this reported route.
How to photograph each ghost
- Travel to the next location before its time window opens. The guide estimates each in-game hour at about two real minutes.
- Use the in-game phone’s Snapmatic camera to frame the ghost clearly and take the photo.
- If the ghost is not at the first listed spot, search its nearby alternate spot during the same window.
- Keep some distance while looking for it; the guide warns that ghosts may vanish if you get too close.
Ghosts 1–9 are order-independent, but the final midnight appearance is not: Devin Weston appears at Paleto Cove only after all nine other photos are complete. The guide says that finishing ghosts 1–4 leaves the midnight window that same night available. If your ninth photo is one of ghosts 5–9, you may have to wait until the next midnight window for Devin.

Reported 2026 rewards and event status
GTA Boss’s 2026 coverage reports GTA$20,000 and 500 RP for each ghost, plus a GTA$50,000 completion bonus. It gives a base total of GTA$250,000 and 5,000 RP, and reports an October 1, 2026 event start with a 2X GTA$ bonus. The guide also lists a Ghosts Exposed Jacket and says the event end date is TBC. These are third-party guide details, not confirmed here by a 2026 Rockstar announcement. See the guide’s 2026 Ghosts Exposed coverage for its reward and event reporting.
Rockstar’s October 10, 2024 announcement said photographing all 10 apparitions that year earned the Ghosts Exposed Outfit and, for players who had missed it the prior year, the Albany Brigham’s Ghosts Exposed Livery. That statement establishes the 2024 rewards only; it does not verify the route or rewards reported for 2026.
