Hades II v1.0 launched worldwide at 9 a.m. PDT on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Supergiant Games said it would be available at that time “or your local time,” so the corresponding clock time depends on your location and the time-zone rules in effect that day. The date may be September 24 or September 26 in some time zones.

Use the official launch anchor—9 a.m. PDT on September 25, 2025—and convert that instant to your local time. Supergiant’s announcement did not publish a region-by-region list of clock times. For a reliable conversion, enter September 25, 2025, 9:00 a.m. PDT in a time-zone converter and select your city. Make sure the converter uses the location’s daylight-saving rules for that date. The date can shift across the international date line, so your local calendar date may differ from September 25.
Which Hades II release date do you mean?
“Release date” can refer to the start of Early Access or the full v1.0 launch. The game first entered Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store on May 6, 2024. These dates describe different launches, not a single simultaneous release on every platform. The worldwide 9 a.m. PDT time was announced for the September 25, 2025 v1.0 launch on Switch 2, Switch, Steam, and the Epic Games Store; it should not be treated as a general launch-time rule for later platform releases.
Updating from Early Access
Players who already owned Hades II Early Access on Steam or the Epic Games Store received v1.0 as a free automatic update, according to Supergiant’s September 12, 2025 announcement. Read the announcement

Physical edition and cross-saves
The physical Switch and Switch 2 game cards arrived after the digital v1.0 launch, on November 20, 2025. Supergiant’s September 2025 announcement described a North American retail edition at $49.99 at the time; that announcement price is not a current price or availability guarantee. Supergiant’s FAQ says cross-saves are supported between Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and between Steam and the Epic Games Store. It does not establish cross-save support between those platform groups or for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
