Hades returned to Xbox Game Pass on September 19, 2025, according to an announcement published by Xbox Wire on September 16. Xbox listed the game for Cloud, Console, and PC, and named Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. That announcement records the date and access options at the time; it does not confirm that the game is still included today.
What Xbox announced for September 19, 2025
Xbox Wire framed the return as part of Hades’ fifth-anniversary celebration. The announcement described it as a rogue-like dungeon crawler based on Greek mythology, in which Zagreus fights his way out of the Underworld with help from Olympian powers and mythic weapons. Xbox’s September 16, 2025 announcement is the source for the return date, plans, platforms, and anniversary framing.

Plans and play modes are different kinds of information: a plan identifies the subscription tier named in the announcement, while a play mode indicates where the game could be played. The post does not give a price comparison among plans.
Is Hades still on Game Pass?
The September 2025 announcement is historical, not a live catalog listing. Game Pass availability can change, and access may vary by region. Check the current Xbox Game Pass catalog and the listing for your region before subscribing on the assumption that Hades is included.

The Xbox Store listing identifies Hades as playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and handheld. Store availability and pricing can change; the listed platforms do not, by themselves, establish current Game Pass inclusion.

Yes. Take-Two Interactive and Private Division announced a boxed edition for Xbox Series X and Xbox One in 2021, alongside PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 editions. Their August 13, 2021 announcement described a digital soundtrack download code and a 32-page character compendium booklet as physical-edition bonuses. It does not establish what a current retailer has in stock or what every later listing includes.

The announcement gave a suggested retail price of $29.99 for the 2021 release; that is a historical price, not a current offer. It also reported that Hades had received more than 50 Game of the Year awards as of that 2021 announcement, not a current award count.
