A March 18, 2025 report also announced the space-western-themed Borderline Justice Warbond, then scheduled for March 20. These are historical details, not a guide to the current build: PlayStation’s news page lists later updates.
What PATCH 01.002.200 changed
Arrowhead grouped the update around balance, enemy adjustments, gameplay settings and bug fixes. The examples below show the kinds of changes it made; they are not a complete list. Arrowhead’s patch-notes page displays May 13, 2025, while IGN’s report was dated March 18, 2025. Those dates differ, and the sources do not establish the patch’s first release date.

Enemy AI and the performance trade-off
Arrowhead said it increased the number of AI calculations the game can perform, primarily in situations with many spawned enemies, to improve their response times. The studio also warned of “a slight trade-off in game performance.” It did not quantify that trade-off, so the notes do not support a specific frame-rate or performance estimate.
The patch also made Automatons less distracted by one another and quicker to react in large groups. Those behavior changes sit alongside the dropship health increase: the update adjusted both how enemies respond and some of their combat durability.

Settings and fixes
Beyond combat balance, the patch separated gyro inversion settings and revised how Stratagem groups are categorized in the loadout menu. Arrowhead also listed fixes and optimizations addressing:
- Colony-environment performance optimization.
- Crashes associated with poor network conditions, PC shutdown and large numbers of particles.
- Objectives becoming blocked when called-down equipment was unavailable.
- Lobby and Quickplay issues in low-activity regions.
- Memory leaks.
What Borderline Justice included
IGN’s March 18, 2025 report described Borderline Justice as a “space cowboy” Warbond and said it was scheduled to launch March 20, 2025. Its named equipment included the R-6 Deadeye lever-action hunting rifle, LAS-58 Talon revolver-style secondary and TED-63 Dynamite. The report also named GS-17 Frontier Marshal medium armor and GS-66 Lawmaker heavy armor. It described their Gunslinger passive as improving secondary-weapon reload and draw/holster speed while reducing recoil. These specific contents and the scheduled date are reported by IGN; the PlayStation page describes Warbonds generally rather than independently confirming this Warbond’s items.

How Warbonds are purchased
PlayStation describes Warbonds as in-game catalogues of items purchased in-game for 1,000 Super Credits. Its product page also lists 1,000 Super Credits for $9.99. That is the price displayed on the page accessed October 4, 2026, not a universal or guaranteed current price: platform, region and later store changes can affect availability and pricing. The cited page does not establish whether Borderline Justice remains available today.

The March 2025 report covered a specific patch and an upcoming Warbond, not the present state of Helldivers 2. PlayStation’s official news page includes later updates, so PATCH 01.002.200 should be understood in its historical context rather than treated as a current-build guide.
