Helldivers 2’s Halo crossover is the HELLDIVERS 2 x Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond: a collection of in-game weapons, armor, and cosmetics inspired by ODST, not a new Halo game or a playable Master Chief campaign. It launched on August 26, 2025, the same day Helldivers 2 arrived on Xbox Series X|S. The Warbond costs 1,500 Super Credits, and its individual rewards are unlocked through play.
What is the Helldivers 2 x Halo: ODST crossover?
It is a Legendary Warbond for Helldivers 2, themed around Halo: ODST. Arrowhead Community Manager Mitchell Ayre announced the collaboration on August 19, 2025, with a launch date of August 26 at 5 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. BST. That was also the Xbox Series X|S release date for Helldivers 2. Xbox Wire says the game supports cross-play across platforms.

The crossover is content for Helldivers 2. Buying Halo: ODST does not grant these items; players need the Helldivers 2 base game and must acquire the Warbond in-game.
What’s included in the Legendary Warbond?
Weapons
The official announcements list four weapons:
- MA5C Assault Rifle: includes an ammunition counter and built-in compass.
- M6C/SOCOM Pistol: has a suppressor, laser sight, and flashlight.
- M90A Shotgun: includes a mounted flashlight.
- M7S SMG: has a non-removable suppressor and caseless ammunition.
These are the weapons’ listed features, not independent assessments of how they perform in combat.

Armor
The two armor sets are A-9 Helljumper and A-35 Recon. Both use the Feet First passive, which makes movement quieter, increases point-of-interest discovery range by 30%, and prevents leg injuries.
Cosmetics and other rewards
- The Honored Heirloom and Eye of the Clandestine capes.
- ODST-themed player cards and the Rookie player title.
- The Mean Green vehicle pattern, usable on the hellpod, shuttle, exosuit, and FRV.
How much does it cost, and how do you unlock the rewards?
The Legendary Warbond costs 1,500 Super Credits. Super Credits can be found in-game or purchased separately. After acquiring the Warbond, players unlock its individual rewards gradually through gameplay.

Arrowhead describes Legendary Warbonds as a special tier used for things such as franchise collaborations, with pricing that differs from ordinary Premium Warbonds. The usual Premium Warbond price is 1,000 Super Credits; the ODST Warbond is 1,500. A Premium Warbond Token, including the token valued at 1,000 Super Credits in the Super Citizen edition, cannot be used to claim it.
Does the ODST Warbond expire?
Xbox Wire says Warbonds do not expire, so the ODST collaboration is not described as a timed seasonal reward. That does not establish whether the Warbond is available in the in-game store at this exact moment; check the current game client for present availability.

Why is it called a Legendary Warbond?
Legendary is a distinct Warbond tier, not a promise that every item has a particular combat value. Arrowhead says the tier is intended for special releases such as franchise collaborations, is priced differently from ordinary Premium Warbonds, and does not follow a set release schedule.
