The Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond teased in the circulating “New warbond” thread is Ironclad Democracy. Arrowhead Game Studios announced it on September 15, 2026, with a September 22 release date—so that date has passed. The official announcement confirms its weapons, armor and other items, but neither it nor the Reddit thread establishes who first shared the material or how it became public.
What was revealed, and when?
A Reddit thread titled “New warbond” circulated the reveal and prompted commenters to wonder whether it was a leak. Some said they could not find it on official channels. Those comments document the discussion, not the material’s provenance.

Arrowhead’s official announcement on PlayStation Blog identified the content as Ironclad Democracy and set its launch for September 22, 2026. Mitchell Ayre, credited as an Arrowhead Game Studios author, wrote: “The Ironclad Democracy Warbond rolls onto the Galactic battlefield September 22.” Because the date has passed, check the in-game Warbond menu for current availability rather than treating it as an upcoming release. What is in Ironclad Democracy?
PlayStation Blog lists the following items. Its descriptions establish what Arrowhead announced, not independent findings about combat performance or balance.

Weapons
- AR-11 Arbitrator: Primary assault rifle with an underslung shotgun.
- GL-15 Evictor: Primary pump-action grenade launcher with a single-round reload.
- P-34 Breacher: Secondary missile pistol that fires sticky phosphorous-fuel projectiles.
Throwables
- G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker: A smart grenade-delivery drone that tracks the user and homes in on nearby enemies.
- G-8 Immolation: Incendiary grenade.
Armor and passive
- BFM-16 Tanker: Light armor.
- BFM-220 Ironclad: Heavy armor.
- Blunt-Force Mitigation: The announced passive increases resistance to being knocked off your feet, reduces impact and collision damage by 30%, and provides a higher armor rating. The 30% figure is from Arrowhead’s official description; the announcement does not provide independent gameplay testing.

- Standard of Rapid Evacuation and Shroud of The Juggernaut capes.
- Integrated Extinguishers and Surplus EAT Allocation boosters.
- Helmet Durability Check emote, two player cards and the Treadhead title.
- Tank-exclusive patterns in Verdant camouflage, Glacial polymer and Executive onyx. PlayStation Blog describes tank-exclusive patterns as a first for a Premium Warbond.
How much does it cost, and what do you need?
Arrowhead’s support page says Premium Warbonds generally cost 1,000 Super Credits. That is the general Premium price listed by Arrowhead, not a separately specified Ironclad Democracy price in the announcement. The official post says this Warbond requires the base game, Super Credits and game progression. In the Warbond system, players spend Super Credits to acquire a Warbond, then use Medals earned through gameplay to unlock its items; Super Credits can be purchased or found through gameplay. How does Premium differ from Legendary?
Ironclad Democracy is presented as a Premium Warbond. Arrowhead describes Legendary Warbonds as special-purpose releases, such as franchise collaborations, with different pricing and no fixed schedule. Its support page lists the ODST Legendary Warbond at 1,500 Super Credits; that is a comparison, not Ironclad Democracy’s stated price. Arrowhead explains Legendary Warbonds here.

Was it actually leaked?
The material circulated in a Reddit thread, and some participants described it as a possible leak because it was not yet visible on official channels. The available posts do not verify who shared it first, whether it was an unauthorized leak, or why it appeared when it did. The firm account is the subsequent official announcement; “leak” describes the story’s framing, not a confirmed explanation of the reveal’s origin.
